1. What StoryBrain Is

StoryBrain is a story development platform that uses AI to help you develop ideas, write treatments, generate coverage, and create screenplay documents. We provide the tools — you provide the creative vision.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Your Content

You own everything you create and upload. StoryBrain claims no ownership over your stories, treatments, screenplays, or any other content you generate using our tools. You are free to use, publish, sell, or share your output however you see fit.

4. What We Do With Your Content

We process your content solely to provide you with the StoryBrain service. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the platform. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. AI-Generated Content

StoryBrain uses AI to generate documents based on your inputs. While we work to ensure high-quality output, AI-generated content is provided "as is." You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and taking ownership of any output before using it professionally. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, originality, or legal status of AI-generated content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use StoryBrain for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Use the platform to generate content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes on others' intellectual property rights.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying AI models or prompts.
• Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the platform in ways not intended by its design.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of your current billing period. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans — no questions asked.

8. Availability

We aim to keep StoryBrain running reliably, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the platform offline for maintenance or updates. We'll do our best to give you notice when that happens.

9. Limitation of Liability

StoryBrain is a tool, not a substitute for professional legal, business, or creative judgment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Narrative Drive, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
