StoryBrain, a subsidiary of Narrative Drive, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform.

• Account information — your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Content you create — sessions, stories, treatments, screenplays, and other materials you develop using our tools.
• Uploaded files — source material, scripts, and documents you upload for analysis or adaptation.
• Usage data — basic analytics like pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the StoryBrain platform.
• To process your content through our AI tools and return results to you.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
• To improve our tools and user experience.

What We Don't Do

• We do not use your content to train AI models.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• We do not share your content with anyone outside of what is required to operate the platform.

Data Security

We take security seriously. Our infrastructure runs on Hetzner, protected behind Cloudflare's CDN. All data is isolated per account with individual authentication. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

Third-Party Services

We use Anthropic's Claude API to power our AI tools. Your content is processed through their API solely to generate your results. Anthropic's use of data submitted via API is governed by their API usage policies, which prohibit training on customer data submitted through the API.

Data Retention

Your content remains in your account for as long as your account is active. You may delete your content or your account at any time. Deleted data is removed from our systems within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

StoryBrain is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform.
